The first time that I did a mall show, I was next to a watercolor artist from Ponca city named Elaine Armstrong. I was new to the business, and I asked her for lots of advice. One of the things that she told me was that I would need a "great big dazzling" so that people would stop and look at all my "little bitty stuff". So I went home and looked through my stacks of photos, and found the most complicated picture I could find. Little did I know it would take me three years to finish it.
